New partnership with the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia for a clinical study about vitamin D health

siHealth has partnered with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia to support a clinical study on vitamin D health. Using ExpoDose, the study will track solar exposure in volunteers to address Malaysia's vitamin D deficiency.

siHealth is pleased to announce the definition of a new partnership with the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), aimed to support a clinical study for vitamin D health in the Malaysian population. In particular, siHealth is going to provide its ExpoDose solution for tracking automatically the vitamin D-effective solar exposure of a group of volunteers for several months in everyday life.

The overall aim of this study led by Dr Nor Aini Jamal (Faculty of Health Sciences, UKM) is to assess solar exposure and vitamin D levels in everyday life for defining new policies and solutions (e.g. siHealth’s Sun4Health app) tackling the rising vitamin D deficiency in the population.
