ExpoDose and SmartPDT presented at the 18th International Congress on Photobiology (Perth, Australia)

At the International Congress on Photobiology, experts highlighted siHealth’s ExpoDose and SmartPDT solutions, advancing real-world sun exposure tracking and home-based skin therapy.

Prof Piergiacomo Calzavara-Pinton, Chair of Dermatology at the University of Brescia and President of the European Society of Photodermatology, presented siHealth’s innovative ExpoDose solution with a  poster at the last International Congress on Photobiology held in Perth (Australia) in August 2024.

The poster showed that the ExpoDose app has a very high accuracy in tracking personal sun exposure in multiple spectral bands in everyday life (including an automatic continuous detection of indoor/outdoor), making it a perfect solution for photobiological/clinical studies in real-world conditions.

In the frame of the same congress, Prof Yolanda Gilaberte, Professor of Dermatology at the University of Zaragoza and President of the Spanish Association of Dermatology, had a verbal presentation about siHealth’s SmartPDT solution, disclosing preliminary results of a clinical study in Spain aimed to assess the advantages of an home-based daylight PDT therapy of Actinic Keratosis when supported by the SmartPDT digital system for managing the impact of solar radiation dose and intensity on its efficacy.
